Rancho Oliveta has been continuously owned by the Smith family since 1895 when John’s great-grandfather purchased the property and built a home for John’s grandparents. They planted navel oranges and a variety of other fruit and nut trees, many of which are still producing today. Five generations of the family have now lived in the home which is located in Redlands, California, the heart of the largest navel orange producing region in the world until the 1950’s. We still sell the wonderful award-winning heritage oranges at our seasonal farm stand that are known as the sweetest and best in Redlands!
